On May 8, 2006 from 4-5pm EST, USA Today featured Debra A. Neiman, CFP in a live online chat. Neiman answered readers questions about financial planning issues for unmarried couples. The date of the online chat is also the date that Neiman's Money Makeover article was published in the USA Today Couples and Their Cash series.
The Money Makerover profiles a married same-sex couple in Massachusetts. Neiman specializes in understanding the nuances of and devising intelligent financial planning strategies to help married same-sex couples, whose marriages aren't recognized Federally, and unmarried couples protect themselves, their assets, and each other.
